Cyclones make good impression on Foster

Three-star cornerback Eddie Foster had a "pretty cool" official visit to Iowa State over the weekend, his first such trip. But the Colleyville (Tex.) Heritage standout is still quite a ways from making a final decision with two more trips yet to be scheduled to the other schools in his top three.

The 5-foot-10, 165-pound Foster, ranked as the no. 64 corner in the country by Rivals.com, said he's planning to visit Ole Miss and Vanderbilt after his high school season is over and he doesn't think he'll make a final decision before taking those trips.

"I'm still going to take more visits, I need to see all of them," Foster said of his top three. "The other ones aren't scheduled yet, I'll probably wait until I'm done with my season. It was pretty cool at Iowa State, it was great to meet all of the coaches face to face finally. The highlight for me was probably just being on the field for warm-ups before the game started. That's a great experience."

Foster is a solid student with about a 3.3 GPA in high school and a 1200 score on the SAT already in the books.
