What made 4-star Nelson pull the trigger?

Since taking over the challenge of rebuilding the once-proud Oregon State basketball program, head coach Craig Robinson hasn't wasted a single second on the recruiting trail. And as we've seen, all the hard work has paid off. Last week, Robinson and his staff secured their biggest verbal commitment to date when Roberto Nelson decided he wanted to be a Beaver - and it was something the strong 6-foot-4, 190-pound shooting guard from Santa Barbara had been thinking about for awhile.

"Ever since I went up there (for an unofficial visit) I knew it," Nelson said. "It felt like home up there and the people are nice. It's a really cool place."
