Skov stoked about Cardinal future

Rivals100 linebacker Shayne Skov committed to Stanford back in September and since that time Skov has become a recruiter of sorts for the Cardinal.

The 3 star Bay Area native keeps in close contact with many Stanford commits and more that are considering Palo Alto as a destination.

"I know any success we (Stanford) have in the future, is contingent of what we do now", Skov said.

Skov (6-3, 225) mentioned communicates regularly with Terrence Stephens, Brock Sanders, Usua Amanam and Levine Toilolo.

The good news for Cardinal fans is that Skov is working on uncommitted prospects such as WR Jamal Patterson and OT Patrick Ward. #3 ranked OLB Skov was excited when mentioning the current move Stanford is making in recruiting ranking.

"Yeah, we were #20 (in rankings) the last I saw and that was before Jerami (Roberts) committed", Skov said.

Skov has been spending the summer in the Bay Area with family. Working out, attending a few Cardinal practices and getting ready for his senior season.

"I'm getting real excited about my senior year and have been working hard getting ready for that", Skov said.

The good thing for Stanford is that is not the only thing he is working hard at.
