Practice bits and pieces

The offense didn't have their best day, but still they made plays. The offense is a definite work on progress and even more so with the bad news of Ben Olson reinjuring his foot sidelining him for at least eight weeks.

The battle for the starting quarterback spot looks to have narrowed down to Kevin Craftt and Chris Forcier (pronounced for-see- a) with Osaar Rasshan looking from the outside in due according to UCLA head coach still nursing a knee injury.

Neither quarterback did anything that would make one say that this is definitely the guy, but one thing you have to consider is Forcier has only been getting multiple and consistent reps since Saturday. He displayed some things that can give you an indication that he could be the quarterback that UCLA thought they recruited when he was a big time recruit out of San Diego two years ago.
