Five-star DT rates FSU visit a perfect '10'
For about 36 hours, Chris Davenport saw first hand what it's like at Florida State. During his day and a half visit, the five-star defensive tackle from Mansfield (LA) high school met coaches, players, fans, and other recruits. It was a visit he scored a perfect 10 out of 10.
"It was good, can't complain about anything," said Davenport. "I got to see the Bobby Bowden statue, the sportsmanship statue, and the Unconquered one. I saw the thing where they have them as the underdog, and bury the grass (sod cemetery)."
