Jones names a leader

If college football doesn't work out, then the Marshall High School duo of Darius Jones and Dameon Smith might have a future in Hollywood. The pair of Rivals.com three-star prospects have provided for plenty of entertainment in their whirlwind of a recruiting saga.

Smith has been much more consistent during the whole process as he has said he has been leaning towards Texas A&M for quite some time now. Jones, on the other hand, was thought at one time to be an Aggie lean before being rumored to eliminate the Aggies and possibly committing to both OU and LSU at times during the spring and summer.

Now, however, it looks like this saga is close to an end.

The 6-foot, 175-pound Jones has scholarship offers from Texas A&M, LSU, Oklahoma, Baylor, Houston, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and Tulsa.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Smith has scholarship offers from Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Missouri, Baylor, Houston, Louisiana Tech and Tulsa. He is also receiving interest from Oklahoma.
