Ducks impress Georgia receiver

The Oregon Ducks have once again spread out their recruiting net to the southern part of the United States. Wide receiver Jamal Patterson (6'3'', 203, 4.5) from Henry County High School in McDonough, Georgia has been offered a scholarship from the Ducks.

"Coach Pflugrad had been recruiting me and I was offered a scholarship. I really like the Oregon program. I like the academics there, and the coaching staff has mostly been there a long time and that shows that they have loyalty to the coaches and the kids," Jamal noted. "The Ducks are a top level program in a great conference, a BCS winning conference. It is a very well respected conference. Oregon came 3000 miles to see me and that shows me that they really want me."
