Chris Burnette's Weekly Diary
Lagrange (Ga.) Troup County native Chris Burnette is one of the top offensive linemen in the country. He has committed to the University of Georgia, and he will be enrolling in January 2009.
Burnette is a 6-foot-4, 290-pound offensive lineman that holds a 4.5 GPA. He is an honor student and one of the premier football players in America.
This Army All-American will share with the Dawg fans his weekly diary from now until he enrolls at UGA. Here is a summary of April 20-26.
"This week I had a great time with my family and friends. I spent the previous weekend with my teammates celebrating my 17th birthday and I had a lot of fun beatin em down in basketball and a lil madden 08"
"During the week it was all WORK. We had mat drills this Tuesday and Thursday for the last time until spring training on the 5th. Also, we have a break from weight training after school to focus on our studies."
"This is perfect timing because I take the SAT on the 3rd (hopefully I can break 2000!). Today I'm going to be headed to my uncle's house for our monthly prayer meeting in Warner Robins. I'll make sure to pray to be more focused, a better person, and of course that the Dawgs are prepared to win the National Championship this year!"
This diary will be updated each Sunday on UGASports.
