Sun shines on scrimmage

Finally, after numerous days that the Oregon State football team was forced to practice indoors, some comfortable spring weather came calling Friday afternoon. With the sun out and players looking to hit somebody, the Beavers, with help from some referees, held their second scrimmage in as many weeks. The offense had its moments, moving the football down field but struggling to find the end zone thanks to a very stingy defense. Thankfully, the OSU air attack got them over the line for a few scores, and the quarterbacks started to show signs of growth. Here is what I witnessed on Friday afternoon:
