Defense takes control in spring game

At the end of the first half in the 2008 Kansas Spring Football Game the Blue team held a 10-3 lead. The only score came when Kendrick Harper scooped up a Carmon Boyd-Anderson fumble and went 23 yards in the final minute of the half.


The Blue quarterback Todd Reesing spent a lot of time rolling out of pressure and the running backs rarely found a gap to run through. The Blue team, the first stringers, went the entire half without an offensive touchdown. And it was against the second string defense.
