Beck looking at all the options

First-year Nebraska running backs coach Tim Beck is one of seven new assistant coaches to join the Huskers' staff. At the same time, Beck has one of the deeper groups of players with experience at just one position this spring.

The first-year Nebraska assistant made his way to Lincoln after spending three seasons at Kansas as the receivers coach and pass game coordinator. In his final year with KU, the Jayhawks posted a 12-1 record including an Orange Bowl victory over Virginia Tech with an offense that ranked second nationally in scoring and eighth in total offense.

Now coaching a different position at Nebraska, Beck says it is a transition in what he's coaching. At the same time his experience coaching at all different levels of football, including time spent with the passing game in the conference has made things easier.
