Where does five-star Favors stand?

Five-star forward Derrick Favors is arguably the top player in the state right now, and maybe the top in the country, even though he has another year to play. He averaged over 23 points, 17 rebounds, and 9 blocks a game drawing triple teams nightly. His season did not end the way he had hoped, as the Hornets were dispatched by East Hall in the 1st round, and he expected more than that.

"I think it was good overall, but it definitely ended a lot sooner than I thought it would," Favors said. "We (South Attlanta) were a better team than how we played that night, but I'm not taking anything away from a talented East Hall team."

The 6-foot-9 dominant big man is determined to make sure next year's outcome is more satisfying.

"I have to learn to play better with my teammates. Also, teams were able to get me into foul trouble, and that put more pressure on the other guys."

"If I am going to be a leader, then I have to overcome that so it does not become a recurring problem. If I can get the other guys involved more, it should make it tougher for them to key in on anyone guy."

Everyone wants to know where he will be playing hoops at the next level, but if signing day were tomorrow, he does not know where he would go.
