Scheelhaase moves KU up list after visit
By now, Nathan Scheelhaase has become a household name for many Kansas fans. The 6-foot-2, 181-pound athlete from Rockhurst High School in Kansas City, Mo., recently guided the Hawklets to an undefeated season and another State Championship. Scheelhaase, who has emerged as one of the most heavily recruited players in the area, was in Lawrence on Saturday for KU's Junior Day. The elite prospect spoke to Jayhawk Slant about his experience and his increased interest in the Jayhawks.
According to Scheelhaase, Junior Day at Kansas just isn't about football. In fact, much of the information provided deals with academics and the improvements that are currently being made to the facilities.
