Jelesky talks about official visit
"It was really good, I had a lot of fun," said Jelesky. "I mean I was expecting as so. I always hear from people that official visits, they're great. They just met all of my expectations, it was a lot of fun.
"I think really the best spot is getting to know all of the people I'm going to be with next year and who I'll be playing with and my future teammates. That was really the coolest part.
"My player host was Tim Fugger. He was really cool, he made the switch from tight end to defensive end, which was pretty cool because we are going to be future d-linemen together. My roommate was Ryan Seymour which was really cool. I was really excited when he committed too, that was a good move.
"It was cool to see Coach Sisk's demonstration about the weightlifting techniques. I mean some of the stuff they do is really different from what I do now so I'm just excited to try something new and I really liked the heavy weighted roke. And they showed some exercises and stuff."
"The upgrade to McGugin is exciting, it's fantastic. I'm especially excited that it's going to start after next season so I mean that's going to be there while I'm there still. But it looks fantastic though with the player's lounge, the bigger locker rooms, the bigger team meeting room, I'm really excited about it."
"I talked a lot to Coach Bryant, he's my recruiting coach. He really didn't have any other recruits there so we always had dinner pretty much, him and my family. I talked to Coach Fowler the week before I got there. He came out and met with me at school. We talked for about an hour and that was cool cause I really hadn't gotten a chance just to sit down and talk with him before. I mean we talked a couple of times over the phone but we just hadn't had the chance to sit down with each other. I saw Coach Logo a bunch but we didn't get a chance to sit down and just talk."
"I think Coach Bryant's coming back out here, maybe next week or so."
"We hung out a lot with Rob Lohr and Tristan Strong. And Al Owens and Taylor Thompson, we all hung out a bunch. Also Michael Bryant and Richard Cagle too. It was pretty much exactly what I thought it would be but a little bit more which made it special."
"My parents had a great time, they are just as excited about it as I am. I thought about coming down in July but I looked at my schedule and looked at when the summer school schedule started and realized I had about two weeks after I graduate before the first summer school started so I might change my mind and come down for both in June and July."
"I'm probably looking to go into the HOD on the business track. It's still though up in there air. Probably after I get there and go through some of the classes, I might realize I want to do something else but that's what it's looking like at the moment."
"They did for a while back in the fall but after I just told them off, they did."
