Louisville tries to build stock with Sanders

Four-star offensive lineman Zebrie Sanders took an official visit to the University of Louisville this weekend, and the Cardinals tried to push their way up his list past Florida and Georgia. Cardinalsports.com talked with Sanders after the visit to find out if they were able to do so.

"It went great," the 6-foot-5, 273-pound prospect said Sunday as he was driving the three hours home to Ohio. "Just the players and then all the facilities were really nice. I enjoyed it."

Sanders, who was hosted by offensive lineman George Bussey, said his highlights on the trip were "just hanging out with the players and getting to know Coach K(ragthorpe) and Coach (Brent) Myers. It was nice to talk to those guys. Those were pretty much the highlights."

Where the Cardinals able to make up any ground? "It helps them - I'm looking at them, but my top two are still Florida and Georgia," he said.

Sanders also mentioned that he would either visit Florida State or UCLA in January.
