Little by little it has leaked out that certain players will be suspended for Florida State's upcoming Music Bowl in Nashville. Any suspensions would likely be a result of the ongoing investigating into academic misconduct of student athletes. When news that a tutor and student athletes were involved in cheating for an on-line course, it was felt that the main revenue sports -- football, basketball and baseball -- would be largely unaffected by the investigation but that no longer appears to be the case.



Depending on who your "source" is, anywhere from a handful to 20 or more players could be suspended for FSU's December 31st bowl game and beyond.



For now, head coach Bobby Bowden isn't giving details. In fact, after Friday's practice he declined to answer three different questions from the media regarding the upcoming suspensions and how they could impact the team. On Saturday however, Bowden indicated that something should be known by Monday or Tuesday.
