Thomas down to two

For one of the top all-purpose backs in the country it is down to the LSU Tigers and the Florida State Seminoles.

First Coast High School product Jermaine Thomas is a three-star prospect according to the latest rankings. The 6-1, 190-pound Thomas is rated as the 16th-best all-purpose back in the country and the 40th-best overall player in the talent-rich State of Florida.

Despite being committed to Florida State since April 23rd, Thomas said that Les Miles and his staff have made significant progress in his mind, particularly Tigers running back coach Larry Porter.

"They (LSU) have expressed significant interest in me and the same holds true for me towards them," Thomas said.
