James ready to decide?

It is a well known fact that TCU's top target for the class of 08' is LaMichael James (5-9, 180) from Liberty-Eylau High School in Texarkana, TX. The big play back has an impressive list of offers with new schools jumping in to the mix as of late. James already sports offers from the likes of TCU, Arkansas, Nebraska, and Minnesota, but some new names have emerged to show a little late love and it seems like they have made an impression. But is it too late?

Cal, Kansas and North Carolina have recently been in contact with the future star and at least two of those schools are expected to offer, maybe all three.

"Right now the recruiting process is getting crazy. I would like to make a decision sometime in December and start getting ready for the next level". Said James. "I really like TCU a lot and Coach Anderson is coming for an in home visit Wednesday."

When asked if there was something that could take place in that meeting that would cause him to commit to the Frogs right then and there, James kept an open mind.

"Maybe not right then, but maybe like a week after that or something, I'm not really sure."

After an amazing senior year that saw James compile 2,043 yards rushing and 24 TD's on just 230 carries for an impressive 8.9 ypc avg., it's no surprise that he is receiving the attention that is currently crushing down upon him.

"My favorites right now are TCU, Cal, and Minnesota" said James. "I'm really looking forward to making my decision."

Stay tuned to the recruitment of this future star. With a December decision likely coming, there will be many hopeful fans holding their collective breath. Frog fans are hoping that the opportunity to play for a winning program and the lure of a very friendly depth chart will be just what James is looking for to continue on his path to stardom as a TCU Horned Frog.
