Commings feels like part of the family

Late in October Sanders Commings came to the conclusion that he was ready to make that big decision. On Halloween Commings decided that he wanted to play for the home-state school and he committed to the University of Georgia. Since his decision he has traveled over to Athens and he says it feels like home.

"It feels great at Georgia since I committed," said Commings. "I am comfortable there, I fit in great and I feel like part of the family now. It is a real good feeling."

Since choosing the Dawgs, Commings has already started to bond with a couple other UGA commitments.

"I hung out with Tavarres King and Dontavius Jackson when I was at Georgia for the Auburn game. I spent some time with A.J. Harmon too and he was excited."

"It was to talk with those guys and see what they are like because I will be playing with Tavarres and Dontavius at Georgia."

The excitement in the air has the 6-foot-1, 195-pound safety out of Augusta ready to be a Bulldog.

"I definitely want to play in an atmosphere like that," said Commings about the Blackout against Auburn. "It makes me excited and ready to play. The crowd was crazy and it was louder than I had heard it before."
