Top Peach state Jr. visits T-town
Henry County High School features one of the more explosive offenses in the state of Georgia, and the Alabama coaching staff has taken notice of one playmaker in particular as 6-foot-3, 200-pound Jamal Patterson took in the Alabama-LSU game over the weekend and appears to be an important target of the Tide coaching staff in the early going.
"My dad and I got to Tuscaloosa about 2 p.m. on Saturday," said Patterson, who already holds early offers from Troy and Purdue. "I have been to Florida State, North Carolina and Georgia Tech, but the crowd can't compare to what I saw Saturday and what you see in the SEC. I have been to Tennessee a few times and this was my first time at Alabama. The fans were just amazing, and Alabama showed me that they can throw the ball around."
Patterson ran into another Georgia prospect in town for the game during his short trip.
"I saw Toby Jackson and hung out with him for awhile," said Patterson. "We have known each other for several years because we used to play against each other."
