Iowa State offers three-star tackle
Iowa State has become the first school to offer a scholarship to three-star offensive lineman Joe King out of Oklahoma City (Okla.) Putnam City North. The no. 13 prospect in the state of Oklahoma also has his first official visit scheduled and, not surprisingly, it's to ISU. But just because the Cyclones are out in front doesn't mean the race is over for the 6-foot-6, 305-pound King.
Other schools talking to King on a regular basis this fall include Miami, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, New Mexico, Texas Tech, Kansas and Kansas State. He's been on two unofficial visits to Oklahoma State and one to Oklahoma and he and his family unofficially visited Miami while in Florida on vacation back in October.
