Big year for Jones

Pitt has had a lot of success this season with players from Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg. Freshman running back sensation LeSean McCoy is on pace to gain more yards that any freshman in Big East history and sophomore defensive back Aaron Berry has come on strong in recent games. The Crusaders have another standout player that is having a big year in senior Mike Jones (5' 10" 195).

Jones has helped lead Bishop McDevitt to an 8-2 record this fall and a berth in the AAAA playoffs and he spoke to the Pantherlair about his team and his recruitment.

With that success, Jones is seeing interest on the recruiting front, including some from Pitt, where he is being recruited by tight ends coach Brian Angelichio.
