Top Ten Tiders

Each Monday, BamaOnline's Matt Scalici lists his top 10 Tide performers. In effect, the list serves as a week-to-week ranking of Alabama's most valuable players.

1. DJ Hall Last Week: 1
Hall further solidified his status as the Crimson Tide's best player with a breathtaking 13 catch, 185 yard performance that included two touchdowns and a two-point conversion. Hall stepped up to become the big time playmaker the Tide offense needed and the result was one of the best performances ever turned in by a wide receiver in a crimson jersey.

2. Darren Mustin Last Week: 3
The unquestioned leader of the Alabama defense, Mustin led the team once again in tackles with 8 against Tennessee and handled perhaps his most difficult assignment of the year in holding Vol running backs LaMarcus Coker and Arian Foster to just 103 yards on the ground. Mustin's senior leadership could be key for the Tide heading down the final stretch of the season.

3. Terry Grant Last Week: 6
With Glen Coffee missing the Tennessee game with a suspension, Grant got his opportunity to once again shoulder the load on the ground for the Tide and made the most of his chance carruing 26 times for 104 yar
