Four-star DE calls FSU visit 'awesome'

Duncan (SC) Byrnes standoutEverett Dawkins was in Tallahassee on Saturday to watch Florida State take on Miami. The four-star defensive end was only able to stay for the game before going back home to South Carolina. After getting in around 4:00 am, Dawkins slept in this morning and then got up with Warchant.com to talk about his visit.

"It was awesome," Dawkins said. "Just seeing the whole atmosphere, all of the recruits that were there. It was top-notch. It was a great visit. The best one I have been on."

Dawkins, who has maintained that Florida State is his leader for months, said he spoke to a few fellow recruits on the sideline before the game. Those recruits were current Seminole commitments E.J. Manuel, Keith Wells and Nigel Carr.
