Prospects play under the lights

Each week the Pantherlair takes a quick look at players that Pitt is recruiting, reporting on how they did this past weekend and how their teams are doing this fall.

The Johnstown Trojans improved their record to 5-3 with a 38-17 win over Forest Hills (4-4). Pitt commit Antwuan Reed carried the ball 17 times for 175 yards and 3 touchdowns. Reed, who is being recruited as a defensive back, also had an interception. Johnstown will be on the road this week when they play at Cambria Heights (0-8).

The West Scranton Invaders (7-1) kept the ball on the ground most of the night as they beat Honesdale 34-3 in a downpour. The Invaders' two tailbacks each went over a 100 yards and their fullback scored two touchdowns running behind TE Hubie Graham and junior tackle Eric Shrive. West Scranton travels to Valley View (3-5) Friday night.
