Francis pleased with his decision

A handful of players made it to Corvallis for their official visits the weekend of the Arizona game, and Jeremy Francis was one of them.

The rock-solid 6-foot-1, 220-pound running back from El Camino College in Torrance, Calif., came to Corvallis as a committed recruit, but it was his first time on campus.

Francis had pledged to the Beavers back in June feeling that OSU was the right fit for him and his trip did nothing but confirm everything he thought - and more.

"I enjoyed my time up there and they treated me good," Francis said. "I hung out a lot with the players, and they showed me around campus. It was a lot of fun and I was very impressed. I'm really happy about my decision."
