Four-star PF enjoys Capstone visit

Homecoming at the University of Alabama was a major recruiting weekend for the Crimson Tide basketball program as Mark Gottfried and his staff hosted official visits for two of the nation's top prospects. Along with highly-touted center J'Mison Morgan, the Tide hosted four-star power forward and Rivals150 member Xavier Gibson. THe 6-foot-10, 230-pound Dothan native traveled to Tuscaloosa for his official visit and came away feeling very good about the Tide program.

During his visit, Gibson got the chance to experience the atmosphere at the Tide's homecoming football game against Houston and the fan support made an impression on the nation's 43rd overall prospect.

Gibson relationship with the Tide coaching staff has been strong since the beginning of his recruitment and the Tide staff continue to be a major plus for Alabama in Gibson's recruitment.

As of now, Gibson has narrowed his choices down to three favorites with the Crimson Tide in good shape to land the No. 14 power forward in the nation when he makes his decision later this month.
