Tiger notebook: Just about perfect

All season long, Gary Pinkel has been waiting for his team to play "our best game." On Saturday night, that might have happened.

"I'd say so. We played our A game in a lot of facets," said Chase Daniel. "You've got to give credit to the coaches."

"I think we executed our game plan perfectly," said safety Pig Brown. "We just wanted to go out there and dominate one play at a time."

Dominate is exactly what the Tigers did, from the opening 80-yard drive to the final gun as 70,000 Tiger fans stayed in their seats after a win over Nebraska for the first time in more than three decades.

"That is as complete a game as we have played in a long, long time," Pinkel said.
