The key match-up's in Saturday's Iowa State game

Each week, HuskersIllustrated.com will breakdown the key match-ups heading into Saturday's game. This week, there are several intriguing match-ups heading into the Iowa State game.

For Nebraska, a key match-up on Saturday will be containing Iowa State quarterback Bret Meyer and the Cyclone offense. Meyer has given NU trouble over the years.

Todd Blythe vs. NU's corners

The last few seasons, Iowa State wide receiver Todd Blythe has literally owned the Nebraska secondary with well over 300 yards receiving in three games. No receiver has ever done that to Nebraska over the last three years.

This match-up will potentially be the most important one for Nebraska, because Blythe poses such a mismatch with his physical size. However, one thing that should help Nebraska is the fact Zack Bowman is healthy and he'll be ready to match-up against Blythe on the key passing downs.
