The race for one of the gems out of the state of North Carolina's junior class has begun. Xavier Nixon, a 6-foot-6, 270-pound tackle, attended his first-ever college football game on Labor Day Night as Clemson downed Florida State, 24-18.

What did the Fayetteville (NC) Jack Britt lineman think of his experience?

"It was great," Nixon told Tigerillustrated.com in an interview earlier this week. "It was my first college game and it was the best atmosphere I've experienced. I showed up with my parents - Kenneth and Sotini Nixon - two and a half hours before the game. We ate and then met up with the other recruits."
