UA-Georgia: 5 on the spot

The Alabama football team tries to improve to 3-0 in Southeastern Conference play Saturday against visiting Georgia. The Bulldogs bring the league's second-rated defense to Bryant-Denny Stadium. Here are five players to watch against the Bulldogs:

1.] Wallace Gilberry

One-fourth of the way through the season, Alabama's best pass rusher still seeks his first sack. If Gilberry is unable to crack the sack column in this game, he may not get a better chance in conference play the rest of the year. He will face a true freshman in right tackle Clint Boling, and quarterback Matt Stafford is not especially elusive. Coach Mark Richt is quick to forsake the running game when trailing, so an Alabama lead could mean a lot of chances for Gilberry. Stafford has the arm strength to make Alabama pay a deep-ball price for too much time in the pocket.
