UA commits in action over weekend
Arizona's 2008 commits were in action once again this weekend, and it all started with a national television appearance by 6-foot-2, 185-pound quarterback Matt Scott. Corona Centennial faced off against Crespi and Scott was very impressive, finishing 20-29 for 153 yards with one touchdown and one interception. He also added 13 carries for 43 yards.
While his stats may not jump out at you, he was impressive in finding the first man after the handoff and making the necessary hit and also displayed very good arm strength. Scott certainly seems like he is going to be a very good signal caller down the road.
5-foot-8, 183-pound Keola Antolin had an impressive day as his Las Vegas Bishop Gorman team traveled to Missouri and defeated Rock Bridge 61-19, the highest point total Rock Bridge has given up in ten years.
Antolin was one of the main reasons for the blowout as he ran only nine times for 176 yards and two touchdowns. He also did it on special teams as he ran a kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter.
