Five on the Spot

Urban Meyer - It never happened in 2005 despite three losses, including a blowout loss to Alabama and a loss on the road to a South Carolina squad which was but one game over .500 at the time. It didn't happen after the loss to Auburn in 2006, which at the time seemingly knocked Florida out of the national championship equation.

In his three years as the head coach of the Florida Gators, Meyer has been able to do no wrong according to the Gator Nation. And then, out of nowhere, in what ended up being a convincing win in the end, he took a hit or two (actually a lot more) and some criticism on message boards and sports radio for his decision to play his starters during the second half of what was a 49-7 blowout of Troy at the time.
