BOL Notebook: Arenas anxious

Javier Arenas has broken impressive returns in both of Alabama's first two games, and was asked this week if he can make it three for three against Arkansas.

"We're going for 12 for 12 - isn't that how many games we play?" Arenas said.

But while returning kicks is primarily what Arenas was recruited for, and has been his main role since he arrived at the Capstone, the sophomore from Tampa is looking for greater contributions.

"It's not enough. It's not enough at all," Arenas said of whether he could make a satisfying career out of kick returns. "I want to be known for playing defense. I don't treat the secondary like a secondary job."
