ASI Insider Report: Making the move to DE

With Kevin McNeil currently unavailable because of a suspension, Florida State has faced depth issues at defensive end. As a result, the defensive coaches made a decision to move one of the interior lineman to the outside. That player, redshirt sophomore Kendrick Stewart, has lined up at defensive end in both the Clemson and UAB games.

"I have played defensive end in both games," Stewart said. "The decision to move came about around three or four days before the Clemson game. They switched me to defensive end and they liked how I looked. Coach Bowden said a couple months before that he thought I looked athletic enough to play defensive end so he just made the switch."
