Hill carrying on a budding tradition
The town of Youngstown, Ohio has already been good to the Oklahoma football program. It began with a national championship in 2000 delivered from two hometown boys, Bob Stoops and Mike Stoops. The newer wave came when starting right tackle Branndon Braxton burst onto the scene his freshman year.
It is about time the Sooners began the next stage of their Youngstown connection and the writing is already on the wall with the commitment last month from Youngstown (Ohio) Cardinal Mooney star Taylor Hill. Since the fans of Oklahoma have been spoiled by the city with a population just over 82,000 the obvious question remains: Is he ready to carry on the Youngstown tradition?
