Cleveland looks to breakout this season

If there is one guy continually mentioned by the coaches and his teammates as a possible breakout player for 2007, it would be wide receiver James Cleveland. After taking a redshirt year last season, Cleveland looks forward to getting on the field this year and showing what he can do. The Texas native talks about the upcoming season and much more.

Q: With a year under your belt, how much more familiar are you with the offense coming into this fall as opposed to last year?

CLEVELAND: Last spring, I got the offense. It's just now I'm more comfortable in being able to really put my movements into the offense instead just doing what it says, being more of an athlete I guess.

Q: Seeing how Dominique took off last year, is that motivation for you seeing how it can be done in that first year?

CLEVELAND: YeaH, I look up to Dominique and his performance, coming here, true freshman like that that to step in and do that. And Brodell as well, because he had a rough start to the year, but he finished real strong and that's the way you're supposed be. No matter how you start, you always finish strong.
