Clemson commit visits Georgia

One of the big Georgia targets going into this recruiting season was in-state lineman A.J. Harmon. Harmon grew up following the Dawgs and he lives in Bulldog country, but he decided in the middle of June that he was ready to give the Clemson Tigers his verbal commitment. Since that time he has appeared to be firm with his commitment, but Saturday he showed up in Athens to watch UGA practice.

"I just went over to Georgia today to take my brother-in-law so he could watch them practice," said Harmon. "He is a big Georgia fan, so I wanted to take him over to let him see them today."

"Georgia looked real good out there today. They were really getting after it and going hard for the first day. It was fun to watch."

It is nice that the brother-in-law got to see his favorite team up close, but the real news is Harmon being on Georgia's campus again after he committed to Clemson over the Dawgs back in June. Was there anything to this visit, or was it strictly for the brother-in-law?

"It was just for him," Harmon stated. "He wanted to come over here, so I brought him. I like watching Georgia practice and stuff too, so I thought we could go on over there."

So is Harmon holding firm with his commitment to the Tigers or is Georgia still in the picture?
