How has life as a Horn been treating Tray Allen?

It's not often that an offensive line recruit captures the fancy of a die-hard college football fan base, but it's also not often that a player like Tray Allen comes along.

Allen, a five-star prospect out of South Grand Prairie High School, will officially begin his career with the Texas Longhorns next week, and the burnt orange fan base couldn't be more excited to see what the big fella can do over the course of what should be a very successful collegiate career.

Before he pulls on the pads for the Longhorns, Allen will take part in the THSCA all-star game on Tuesday night as part of the North team, and he's ready to get out there and mix it up with the South defenders.

"As a team, we came together really quick. We've just been having fun," Allen said. "I think I'm doing pretty well. It's pretty much just half speed so far. Tomorrow when the lights come on, that's where the fun really starts.
