Positive camp for Jefferson

Heading home Wednesday afternoon after what many would characterize as one of the most impressive performances at the LSU camp, Destrehan quarterback Jordan Jefferson said he learned a lot from the LSU coaches.

"It was another good two days for me out there on the field and talking with the coaches," Jefferson said. "All the LSU coaches that were in charge of the group I was in did tell me that they were very impressed with the way I was performing.

"One of the first lessons I learned was regarding the velocity with which I throw the ball to my receivers and now the other big thing that we worked on was things like how to correctly hold the football and the throwing motion in terms of footwork and release point. I have learned a lot this camp."
