McDonald turns it on in front of Williams

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.- Memphis (TN) guard Leslie McDonald didn't have the best 16 minutes of his career Thursday night at the Nike Peach Jam, but he more than made up for it in the second half, scoring 14 points on five-of-seven shooting from the field and four-of-five shooting from the free throw line in leading his Memphis YOMCA team to a 77-62 victory over Houston Hoops.

"I just saw my team needed my help going in the second half, so I had to turn it on," McDonald said after the game. "When my team needs me, I'm there; I try to help them as much as possible."
