Gray finally on his way to Athens

With the rest of his qualified fellow 2007 signees already on campus, UGA freshman quarterback Logan Gray was forced to remain home in Columbia, Mo., while he recovered from an illness. Now, a few weeks behind schedule, he is at long last moving to Athens.

"I am leaving tomorrow afternoon and stay in Nashville that night and then get in Tuesday morning," Gray told UGASports Sunday evening.

Gray, who will be rooming with offensive tackle Clint Boling, punter Drew Butler, and former Rock Bridge high teammate tight end Aron White, has been keeping up with what has been going on with the Bulldogs this summer.

"I have been talking to [White] every couple of days, and he said it is going well," said Gray. "At first it was a lot of stuff with summer workouts, going to school and the classes, meetings, study hall and advisors; he said it is a lot to deal with, but that he is definitely enjoying it and he wants to be ready for fall camp."
