Robinson happy with camp & decision

Georgia commitment Christian Robinson decided to head over to Athens on Tuesday to participate in the morning session of Georgia's camp. Robinson wanted to get a feel of what it will be like playing under Coach John Jancek and see what he could learn from the Bulldog's linebackers coach.

"It felt good just being out there at the camp," said Robinson. "I got there on Monday night and got to hang out with the coaches while the high school coaches were working with the air ball games. The coaches were glad to have me on campus. They were happy being able to talk with me, work with me and just knowing that I was at Georgia."

After getting to know the coaches a little better and having a nice evening in Athens, Robinson got back to work early Tuesday morning at the camp.

"It went well. We talked about things in the beginning as far as terminoligy and things like drops and coverage. Once I started working with other linebackers when we did 7-on-7 it really started clicking. I was learning the terms and I was out there executing."

One of the main reasons attending the camp was to spend time with his future coach at linebacker.

"Coach Jancek wants me to use my athleticism to make plays, but it is also a thinking game," said the 6-foot-3, 205-pound linebacker. "You have to be able to remember every play what your responsibility is and just bring it all together."
