SC seeks another Scott

Burton Scott, a two-way star from Prichard (Ala.) Vigor, holds scholarship offers from nearly every major school in the South, and just recently received an official scholarship offer from Brennan Carroll and the University of Southern California.

While his future position still remains a bit of a mystery, there is no denying Scott's immense talents on a football field.

"I asked (Brennan Carroll) what position they'd be recruiting me in, and they told me I'd either be a safety or a corner-back," said the 5-foot-11, 194-pound Scott. "I was ok with it, because Pete Carroll recruits guys as they project for the NFL, so it makes sense."
