Abrams-Ward staying busy this spring
Between school, AAU basketball, and morning workouts in the weight room, Thomasville (N.C.) athlete E.J. Abrams-Ward has had plenty of things going on to keep himself occupied this spring.
"He stays busy, because he plays AAU basketball. He's working out hard in the mornings, working on his strength and agility. He was probably the best player on our baseball team. He was probably the best player on the basketball team as well. He's a three-sport star," said Abrams-Ward's linebackers coach, Sam Captain.
Captain, who has closely followed Abrams-Ward's high school career as one of his lead position coaches, marvels at the 6-5, 210-pounder's impressive athletic gifts.
