Pugh liked what he saw in Athens

North Carolina defensive back Makiri Pugh and his family traveled down to Athens from their Charlotte home on Saturday to visit the University of Georgia. Georgia recently stepped up and offered Pugh, so he wanted to see what the Dawgs had to offer.

"The visit to Georgia went really well," said Pugh. "My parents, my sister, and I really liked it a lot. They have a nice size campus that is not too big, they have great coaches, they have a big stadium that seats over 90,000 people, and they have outstanding facilities. I haven't seen facilities that nice before. It was all real nice."

Pugh has two coaches recruiting him from the University of Georgia and he spent time with both of them on Saturday.
