Starting off strong
The spring season started off with a bang for the Meanstreets AAU squad as they advanced to the Championship game of the Boo Williams Invitational. Although they lost the title game to the host Boo Williams squad by a 49-48 score, in a game that wasn't decided until the final seconds. The Chicago based squad is loaded with top area players showed that they will be a force to be reckoned with this spring and summer.
One of those top talents is 2008 guard prospect Matt Humphrey. The 6-foot-5 wing had a disappointing junior season at Hales Franciscan, but he started the AAU season strong in making the all tournament team at the Boo Williams.
Humphrey is currently ranked as the No. 131 prospect in the Rivals 150 for 2008 and has numerous suitors hoping that he will sign with them in the fall. He isn't ready to list a leader or give a comprehensive list yet.
