Alford a positive for Gray

When Louisville hired Tony Alford to coach their running backs after Iowa State head coach Dan McCarney was let go this winter, they knew they would be getting someone very familiar with recruiting in the state of Texas. Those connections are already paying off with top prospects like DeSoto (Tex.) running back Cyrus Gray.

Now standing around 20 scholarship offers, the 6-0, 188-pound Gray sees Louisville as not just another offer, but as a program that could be a good fit for him.
