Hogs making pieces fit
With the drama surrounding Dana Altman's departure as head basketball coach at Arkansas after just one day, the football team is not getting much ink, but Arkansas' offense is starting to make plays.
The Razorbacks are focusing heavily on the passing game this spring because they can limit the chances that the talented and seasoned running backs do not get injured, but more importantly the passing game has not been up to snuff for years, and Arkansas appears dead set on changing that trend.
"Their attitude has been real good, and they're coming out wanting to get better, and you hit that point in the spring where you've got to push through a little bit of soreness," Arkansas coach Houston Nutt said. "Guys are getting beat up a little bit, and we've got to learn how to practice together. I love when we practice together because it's the speed of the game, and whenever you go ones against ones, twos against twos, it really helps you. I just like our mindset."
