Riddell adjusting from one west coast to another
After enjoying a successful juco career in which he threw for some 5,333 yards and 54 touchdowns during his two years at Foothills (Calif.) College, Josh Riddell did not know if he would get to continue his football career or not. After watching quarterback Mike Henig go down with two collarbone injuries, and watching redshirt freshmen Tray Rutland struggle in relief duty, Coach Croom started looking for quality depth at the quarterback position.
While getting adjusted to the everyday life of Starkville, Riddell was given some of the keys to the offense. He knew it would be best to learn these things, as there would be much more to come.
